About The Position
PruittHealth is hiring a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) / Speech Therapist to provide therapy services to patients in a skilled nursing facility setting in Covington, Georgia. The role focuses on helping patients improve communication, cognition, swallowing function, and overall quality of life. Compensation is up to $130,000 annually, based on experience, schedule, and location. The posting offers full-time, part-time, or PRN schedules and an up to $10,000 Stay and Earn sign-on bonus. Candidates must have a master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program and a current Speech Language Pathologist license in the state of practice. Foreign-trained applicants must have credentials deemed substantially equivalent by an ASHA-approved evaluation organization.

Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Perform dysphagia, cognitive, and communication assessments.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to patient goals.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust interventions as appropriate.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and caregivers.
- Educate patients and families on treatment objectives and outcomes.
