About The Position

TransPerfect Health is seeking a 30-hours per week Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for Patriot's Village in Sumter, SC. A clinical fellowship is available. This position is ideal for someone with a passion for the Geriatric population, especially veterans. Requirements

• Current or eligible license in the state of practice

Responsibilities

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, assessments, and treatments in accordance with state practice acts, plan of care, and company policies
• Help optimize functional self-care, independence, and quality of life for members of the aging population
• Accurately complete all required documentation in a timely manner
• Participate in required orientations, staff meetings, and in-service education
• In collaboration with the Director of Rehabilitation, develop robust therapy program
• Follow all infection control procedures and OBRA Resident Rights Guidelines
• Demonstrate sound clinical judgment and effectively prioritize patient care
• Support compliance with all state and federal regulations
• Perform duties that may involve moderate to heavy physical demands
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned
