Part-time Speech Language Pathologist
About The Position
Nelson Care Center, a skilled nursing and rehabilitation community in Alexandria, Minnesota, is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to join its therapy team. The role involves conducting screenings, evaluations, and re-evaluations, supporting discharge planning, and revising established plans of care under physician supervision. Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Certification and licensure as established by state and national board associations.
- Active state license.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Current working knowledge of Functional Pathways policies and procedures and clinical programs, with application skills relevant to therapy disciplines.
- Completion of all required screenings, certifications, and licensure; screening requirements may vary by location.
Responsibilities
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and re-evaluations.
- Participate in discharge planning.
- Revise established plans of care as supervised by the physician.
