About The Position
Ultimate Therapy is looking for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rehabilitation team. We welcome experienced clinicians as well as Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates seeking a supportive environment to begin their careers with dedicated mentorship and collaboration.
Requirements
- Active New Jersey SLP license or eligibility for a Clinical Fellowship (CFY)
- Strong communication, assessment, and interpersonal skills
Nice To Haves
- Skilled nursing experience is preferred but not required
- New graduates are encouraged to apply
Responsibilities
- Evaluate residents with speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on resident needs and functional goals
- Provide therapy services for communication, cognition, voice, and dysphagia
- Collaborate with nursing, rehabilitation staff, physicians, and families to coordinate care
- Monitor resident progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate
- Complete accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
