About The Position
Ultimate Therapy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rehabilitation team at Autumn Lake at Ocean View in Ocean View, NJ. We welcome both experienced Speech-Language Pathologists and Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates who are looking to begin their careers with the support of an experienced interdisciplinary team. This is a full-time position with CFY opportunities available.
Requirements
- Active New Jersey SLP license or eligibility to begin a Clinical Fellowship (CFY)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- New graduates are encouraged to apply
Nice To Haves
- Skilled nursing experience is preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Evaluate residents with speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on resident needs and rehabilitation goals
- Provide therapy services addressing communication, cognition, voice, and dysphagia
- Collaborate with nursing, rehabilitation staff, physicians, and families to coordinate resident care
- Monitor progress, adjust treatment plans, and document services accurately
- Participate in interdisciplinary care planning to support positive resident outcomes
