About The Position
Premier Therapy is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to join its therapy team in Youngstown, Ohio. The role evaluates and treats speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders; develops individualized treatment plans and functional goals; monitors patient progress and adjusts treatment; educates patients, families, caregivers, and team members; and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team while completing required documentation.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
- Current SLP license or eligibility for licensure in the state of practice.
- CCC-SLP as applicable.
Nice To Haves
- SNF/long-term care experience is preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and functional goals.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as appropriate.
- Educate patients, families, caregivers, and team members.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and complete required documentation.
