About The Position

The Treatment Efficacy and Language Learning Lab at the University of Delaware is looking for a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to be part of a federally funded support group development research program. The ideal candidate should be capable of conducting diagnostic assessments (e.g., DYMOND, TILLS, PPVT-5, EVT-3), and leading support groups for family members of children with Developmental Language Disorders. Deep knowledge of the DLD profile, strong interpersonal skills, and a willingness to learn and consistently follow a research protocol and a willingness to abide by both clinical and research ethics are required.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (CCC-SLP)
• Deep knowledge of the DLD profile
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Willingness to learn and consistently follow a research protocol
• Willingness to abide by both clinical and research ethics

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with relevant assessments
• Familiarity with teletherapy practices
• Experience with running family support programming
• Previous participation in research
