About The Position

Ampersand Therapy is hiring Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for the rest of the 2026-2027 school year in Spanaway, Washington. This is an in-person position in a school setting, and we welcome both Clinical Fellows (CFs) and experienced SLPs to apply. New to schools? No problem — we provide mentorship and support! Ampersand Therapy is a local, women- and therapist-operated company founded by providers who understand what it’s like to work in schools. Our mission is to build a community of therapists who feel supported, appreciated, and empowered to make a difference. We proudly serve school districts throughout Western Washington and across several other states. You’ll work alongside a small, passionate team of school-based specialists—some of whom are still active providers in schools themselves. We offer mentorship and support, especially for newer school-based specialists, and are deeply committed to equity, sustainability, and community involvement.

Requirements

• Valid Washington State SLP license (or ability to obtain quickly)
• Washington ESA Certification required (or willingness to acquire)
• CFs welcome to apply

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language therapy services in a K–12 school setting
• Conduct evaluations and write reports
• Develop and implement IEP goals
• Collaborate with special education teams, educators, and families
• Complete documentation and progress monitoring in a timely manner
• Other duties as assigned
