About The Position

Arbor Therapy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their Home Health team as a 1099 Independent Contractor in the Yuma area. This role offers flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to build a caseload that fits individual schedules and income goals. The position involves providing evaluations and treatment in home and community-based settings, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, educating families and caregivers, completing documentation, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Arbor Therapy is particularly interested in clinicians passionate about augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) and innovative service delivery, as their AAC program is expanding.

Requirements

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Active Arizona SLP license (or ability to obtain)
Arizona Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card (or ability to obtain)
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Ability to travel within Yuma and nearby communities
Experience with pediatric populations (0–30 years preferred)

Nice To Haves

Feeding therapy experience or interest preferred
AAC experience a plus
Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

Provide evaluations and treatment in home and community-based settings throughout Yuma and surrounding areas

Adjust plans of care based on progress and clinical judgment
