Home Health - Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (1099 Contractor)
About The Position
Arbor Therapy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their Home Health team as a 1099 Independent Contractor in the Florence area. This role offers flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to build a caseload that aligns with individual schedules and income goals. The position involves providing evaluations and treatment in home and community-based settings, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, educating families and caregivers, completing documentation, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Arbor Therapy is particularly interested in clinicians passionate about augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) and innovative service delivery, as their AAC program is expanding.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Arizona SLP license (or ability to obtain)
- Arizona Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card (or ability to obtain)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to travel within Tucson and nearby communities
- Experience with pediatric populations (0–30 years preferred)
Nice To Haves
- Feeding therapy experience or interest preferred
- AAC experience a plus
- Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply
Responsibilities
- Provide evaluations and treatment in home and community-based settings throughout Florence and surrounding areas
- Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
- Adjust plans of care based on progress and clinical judgment
