School-Based Speech Language Pathologist
About The Position
Child'sPlay Therapy Center is seeking a passionate and collaborative Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to fill multiple maternity leave positions during the 2026–2027 school year in Pell City. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician who enjoys working in the school setting and is looking to gain valuable pediatric experience within a supportive and team-oriented environment. At Child'sPlay Therapy Center, we value clinicians who are compassionate, flexible, and excited to support children and families. While this position is for a temporary maternity leave assignment, there may be opportunities for continued employment following the assignment, including: Additional school-based opportunities Outpatient pediatric clinic positions Opportunities within our growing therapy network This is a great opportunity for a SLP looking to build school-based experience, explore pediatric settings, or potentially grow into a long-term role with our team.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Active Alabama SLP license or eligibility
- ASHA CCCs
- Passion for working with children and collaborating with educational teams
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- CCCs
