About The Position

MTS is seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time, school-based contract position in Spartanburg, SC for the 2026–2027 school year. This role supports a specialized, multi-district educational program serving students with significant support needs. This is a unique opportunity to work in a highly collaborative and supportive environment with students who have complex communication needs and benefit from individualized, multimodal communication approaches, including AAC. The student population includes those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Intellectual Disabilities, Cerebral Palsy, Rett Syndrome, and other significant developmental and medical diagnoses. This position offers a collaborative team of experienced SLPs, access to a multidisciplinary team including OTs, PTs, TVIs, and BCBAs. SLPs are not case managers, allowing you to focus on therapy. A 3:1 service delivery model supports workload balance. No travel is required, and there are no additional school duties such as bus, lunch, or recess duty. The environment is supportive for developing AAC skills.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • South Carolina SLP licensure
