About The Position
Theracare is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join their dedicated therapy team at a Skilled Nursing Facility located at 1651 North Campbell Ave, Indianapolis. This role involves evaluating and treating patients to improve speech, language, swallowing, and hearing disorders. The Speech/Language Pathologist will work collaboratively within a team, providing support and information in their area of expertise. Therapy services may be delivered in various settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities, Outpatient Facilities, Long Term Care Facilities, and Home Health Care.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Current state license/certification
- Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to provide therapy services in locations including, but not limited to, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Outpatient Facilities, Long Term Care Facilities or Home Health Care
- Demonstrate competency in applying the principles, methods, materials and equipment used in specific therapy discipline
- Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements
Nice To Haves
- Minimum one (1) year experience in rehabilitation
Responsibilities
