About The Position
Theracare is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a PRN position. This role involves evaluating and treating patients to improve speech, language, swallowing, and hearing disorders. The SLP will work as part of a dedicated therapy team, providing support and information within the field of Speech/Language Pathology. Services will be provided in various settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities, Outpatient Facilities, Long Term Care Facilities, and Home Health Care. The position offers a flexible schedule and easy access to regional management for support.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Current state license/certification
- Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to provide therapy services in various locations (Skilled Nursing Facilities, Outpatient Facilities, Long Term Care Facilities, Home Health Care)
- Demonstrate competency in applying the principles, methods, materials, and equipment used in specific therapy discipline
- Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements
Nice To Haves
- Minimum one (1) year experience in rehabilitation
