About The Position

AnthroMed Education is hiring a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in grades 6th–12th in a specialized school setting in Wyomissing, PA for the 2026–2027 school year. This is a great opportunity for an SLP who enjoys working with students with Autism, complex communication needs, and AAC and wants to provide functional, meaningful therapy in a highly collaborative environment.

Requirements

• Valid Pennsylvania SLP License
• Pennsylvania Educational Specialist Certificate
• Comfortable supporting students with complex communication needs and behaviors

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Autism and/or AAC is preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language therapy to students with Autism and complex communication needs
• Develop and implement functional therapy goals that support communication across school and daily environments
• Support students who use AAC, including high-tech communication devices
• Collaborate closely with teachers, OTs, and other members of the educational team
• Participate in co-treatment opportunities, particularly with Occupational Therapy
• Support students who may demonstrate challenging behaviors or require a more structured learning environment
• Work as part of a collaborative team focused on helping students build greater independence and communication skills
