About The Position

Broad Reach Healthcare is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to join the rehabilitation team at Liberty Commons Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation in Chatham, Massachusetts. The role involves providing individualized speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing care to patients, including older adults, and collaborating with an experienced rehabilitation team. The hourly rate is $60–$65, commensurate with experience.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current Massachusetts SLP license or eligibility for licensure.
• Strong communication, organizational, and clinical skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in skilled nursing or geriatric rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about treatment goals and strategies.
