About The Position
SummitWest Care is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a true PRN home health role. This position is based entirely on client need. Some weeks may offer consistent visits. Other times, there may be little to no work depending on referrals. This role is ideal for SLPs who already balance multiple roles and want flexible, meaningful work without guaranteed hours. Home health happens in real homes. Compassion, adaptability, and emotional steadiness are essential.
Requirements
- Active Colorado SLP license
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Reliable transportation
Nice To Haves
- CCC-SLP preferred, not required
- Curious learners who are comfortable asking questions
- Self-directed and organized clinicians
- Calm, steady, and compassionate professionals in imperfect environments
Responsibilities
- Provide speech therapy services in patients' homes
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and caregivers
- Educate patients and families
- Communicate changes or concerns clearly
- Complete timely documentation in our EMR (training provided)
