About The Position

Eyas Landing is seeking a skilled and compassionate Saturday-only Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their multidisciplinary team. This role involves providing evidence-based, play-focused pediatric therapy to children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, sensory processing disorder, and other neurodiverse needs. The SLP will foster each child's speech, receptive and expressive language, and feeding and swallowing needs through individualized therapy, implementing approaches like Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) Approach to Feeding, Get Permission Approach, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), and Intentional Relationship Model (IRM). Collaboration with occupational and physical therapists, and social workers, along with documenting progress and communicating with families, are key aspects of the role. The position is for Saturdays from May to September, with a specific shift time and commitment period required.

Requirements

  • Skilled and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP).
  • Ability to provide evidence-based, play-focused pediatric therapy.
  • Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, sensory processing disorder, and other neurodiverse needs.
  • Proficiency in implementing therapeutic approaches such as Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) Approach to Feeding, Get Permission Approach, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), and Intentional Relationship Model (IRM).
  • Ability to collaborate with occupational and physical therapists, and social workers.
  • Must work the full shift 9:00am-2:30pm on Saturdays.
  • Commitment to a 3, 4 or 5-month period.
  • Must not have more than 3 of 12 absences.

Responsibilities
