Speech Language Pathologist - (SLP) - Part Time
About The Position
Absolute Rehabilitation and Consulting is seeking a part-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide patient-centered rehabilitation services at Brethern Care Village in Ashland, Ohio. The SLP evaluates and diagnoses speech, language, and swallowing disorders, then develops tailored treatment plans. The role provides therapy to improve patients’ communication abilities, speech clarity, and swallowing function; educates patients and families on techniques for managing communication or swallowing challenges; and collaborates with other healthcare professionals to address each patient’s overall needs. PRN positions are also available.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop tailored treatment plans.
- Provide therapy to improve communication abilities, speech clarity, and swallowing function for patients of all ages.
- Educate patients and their families on techniques to manage communication or swallowing challenges.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to address each patient’s overall needs.
