About The Position
Ultimate Therapy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rehabilitation team within a skilled nursing facility. This position offers the opportunity to work with an interdisciplinary team while supporting residents with communication, cognitive, and swallowing needs.
Requirements
- Active Maryland SLP license or CFY eligibility
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation settings preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Conduct speech and swallowing evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment approaches
- Provide therapy services focused on communication, cognition, and dysphagia management
- Maintain timely documentation and progress notes
- Collaborate with nursing staff, rehab professionals, and families regarding resident care
