About The Position

Provides therapy to patients based on patient need and medical direction. Provides patient and caregiver education and arranges for adaptive equipment as needed. This is a part-time, PRN position at Pennock Hospital in Hastings, Michigan, with variable shifts and four scheduled hours per week. Corewell Health is offering a $1,000 sign-on bonus for external hires.

Requirements

• Master’s degree.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or an ASHA Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
• Experience evaluating and treating adult and pediatric neurological speech and language disorders, including aphasia, apraxia, dysarthria, dysphagia, laryngectomy, stuttering, and voice disorders.
• Experience with head and neck cancer, tracheostomies, cognition, traumatic brain injury, dementia, and modified barium swallow studies.
• Michigan Speech Pathology license, or a temporary license during the CFY.
• State of Michigan driver’s license for the Home Care Line.
