About The Position
Theracare is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients in accordance with physician's orders. The role involves utilizing therapeutic procedures to improve speech, language, swallowing, and hearing disorders, aiming to overcome disabilities from various causes. The Speech Language Pathologist will function as a team member, offering support and information within their expertise. Therapy services will be provided in diverse settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities, Outpatient Facilities, Long Term Care Facilities, and Home Health Care.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Current state license/certification
- Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to provide therapy services in locations including, but not limited to, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Outpatient Facilities, Long Term Care Facilities or Home Health Care
- Demonstrate competency in applying the principles, methods, materials and equipment used in specific therapy discipline
- Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements
Nice To Haves
- Minimum one (1) year experience in rehabilitation
