About The Position
We are looking for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our therapy team in Lake Orion, Michigan on a PRN basis. This is a great opportunity for an SLP who values flexibility and enjoys working with patients in a collaborative rehabilitation environment.
Requirements
- Current Michigan SLP license in good standing
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
- Reliable and professional approach to patient care
Nice To Haves
- ASHA certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized speech therapy treatment plans
- Provide treatment for speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing needs
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as appropriate
- Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation
- Communicate with patients, families, caregivers, and members of the care team
- Work collaboratively with PT, OT, nursing, and other healthcare professionals
- Provide quality, patient-centered care
