Inverness Rehabilitation Hospital (Englewood, CO) is a 40-bed inpatient rehabilitation facility located in Englewood, Colorado, serving patients throughout the south Denver metropolitan area. The hospital provides comprehensive rehabilitation services for individuals recovering from stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, orthopedic conditions, and other complex medical needs requiring intensive therapy. With an interdisciplinary care model and a strong focus on individualized recovery goals, the clinical team works closely with patients and families to promote functional independence and successful transitions home. Located near the Denver Tech Center and the broader South Denver healthcare market, the Inverness facility offers convenient access to specialized rehabilitation care in a growing Colorado community. Requirements

• Current and valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist required.
• Current BLS certification from an approved required.
• Demonstrates appropriate application of age specific standards, policies and procedures and guidelines in caring for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Demonstrates competency in the provision of care according to established standards
• Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures.
• Demonstrates general computer skills including: data entry, word processing, email, and record management.
• Effective organizational and time management skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality.
• Ability to work closely and professionally with others.
• Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards.

Nice To Haves

• Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA or Clinical Fellowship Year status or equivalent preferred.
• Two years’ experience in rehabilitation hospital setting preferred.
• Demonstrates an understanding of treatment costs and financial support as they relate to quality and efficiency.
• Leadership skills in delegating, organizing, and educating coworkers and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, diagnoses, and treats speech, language, cognitive, communication, voice, swallowing, fluency, and other related disorders.
• Integrates the hospital’s mission and “Guiding Principles” into daily practice.
