About The Position

We’re seeking Full time Speech Language Pathologists to work within an Inpatient Hospital setting in Gainesville, FL. They’re offering a $10,000 Sign-On Bonus plus Relocation Assistance! Shift/Schedule: · Days (Rotating Weekends): 7:30a-4p, but schedules will be dependent on hospital needs. Hospital Details: A brand-new state of the art 90-bed, full-service medical and surgical acute care center opening in May 2026. The hospital will feature comprehensive emergency care, minimally invasive laparoscopic and robotic surgery including orthopedic surgery, general surgery and spine surgery, and a 30-bed in-patient rehabilitation unit. What you will do in the role: As a Speech Therapist (SLP), you'll help patients improve their communication, cognitive, and swallowing abilities through skilled, evidence-based care. Your role is key in helping patients make progress and independence while working closely with a supportive, collaborative rehabilitation team. Requirements

  • 1 year of Speech Language Pathologist experience required.
  • State Licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Masters Degree required

Nice To Haves

  • Testing experience strongly preferred: Modified Barium Swallow Study (MBS), Fiberoptic endoscopic evaluation of swallow (FEES)

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patient abilities and develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and the care team
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions that restore movement, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life
  • Monitor progress, refining therapy plans, and ensuring accurate, timely documentation of outcomes
  • Educate patients and families on exercise programs, adaptive techniques, and safe practices that promote independence
  • Collaborate across disciplines to ensure cohesive, patient-centered care and smooth transitions throughout recovery
  • Leading by example—mentoring therapy assistants or students while upholding the hospital’s values of excellence, compassion, and integrity
