About The Position
PruittHealth is seeking a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) / Speech Therapist to help patients improve communication, cognition, swallowing function, and overall quality of life. The role is based at 112 Hospital Drive, Washington, 30673, and is scheduled PRN. Compensation is up to $130,000 annually, based on experience, schedule, and location. PruittHealth provides post-acute care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and therapy services. Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program.
- Current Speech Language Pathologist license in the state of practice.
- Foreign-trained applicants must possess credentials deemed substantially equivalent by an ASHA-approved evaluation organization.
Nice To Haves
- CCC-SLP preferred.
- Clinical Fellowship candidates considered where applicable.
- Experience in rehabilitation, skilled nursing, home health, or post-acute care preferred.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Perform dysphagia, cognitive, and communication assessments.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to patient goals.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust interventions as appropriate.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and caregivers.
- Educate patients and families on treatment objectives and outcomes.
