About The Position
PruittHealth is hiring a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) / Speech Therapist to help patients improve communication, cognition, swallowing function, and overall quality of life. PruittHealth provides post-acute care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and therapy services and describes its culture as collaborative and focused on clinical excellence. Compensation is up to $130,000 annually, based on experience, schedule, and location. The role is PRN and is located at 210 Main Street, Toomsboro, Georgia.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program.
- Current Speech Language Pathologist license in the state of practice.
Nice To Haves
- CCC-SLP certification is preferred.
- Clinical Fellowship candidates are considered where applicable.
- Experience in rehabilitation, skilled nursing, home health, or post-acute care is preferred.
- Foreign-trained applicants must possess credentials deemed substantially equivalent by an ASHA-approved evaluation organization.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Perform dysphagia, cognitive, and communication assessments.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to patient goals.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust interventions as appropriate.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and caregivers.
- Educate patients and families on treatment objectives and outcomes.
