The Speech Language Pathologist PRN performs speech therapy services to patients in accordance with generally accepted standards, Maryland Board of Speech: Board of Audiologists, Hearing Aid Dispensers, and Speech-Language Pathologists, code of ethics, and departmental policies and/or organizational procedures. This role involves performing patient assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and documenting care provided. The position also includes informing patients, families, and team members of evaluation results, planning and providing therapy education, and offering mentorship to clinical team members and students. The Speech Language Pathologist PRN demonstrates interdisciplinary, safe, patient-centered care, participates in performance improvement activities, and reports clinical and operational issues to departmental leadership.
