About The Position

Innovate Rehab and Wellness is seeking a Licensed PRN Speech-Language Pathologist for a Skilled Nursing Facility in Natchitoches, LA. This PRN (as-needed) role offers flexible shifts with a focus on work-life balance. We are a therapist- and veteran-owned company with over 25 years of experience providing skilled healthcare. Requirements

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (accredited program)
• Valid state SLP license
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and patient-care skills
• Ability to work independently and provide high-quality, evidence-based care

Nice To Haves

• CCC-SLP from ASHA preferred
• Prior speech therapy experience preferred (new grads welcome)
• CPR certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations for speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
• Provide therapy for articulation, cognitive-communication, and swallowing
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on strategies and techniques
• Collaborate with OTs, PTs, physicians, and nursing staff for comprehensive care
• Document patient progress and update treatment plans accurately
• Stay current with best practices and advances in speech-language pathology
