About The Position

The Speech Language Pathologist implements skilled speech-language services for patients in all ASC Therapies & Wellness settings, in accordance with the principles and practices of speech-language pathology and within the policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Must possess a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
• Must possess a valid Indiana Speech-Language Pathology license.
• Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
• Must have at least one year of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Experience working with senior residents.
• Experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living facility.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and provides quality patient care
• Develop initial and ongoing treatment plans
• Develop discharge plans
• Contribute to case management
• Maintain positive level of interaction with patients and center staff
• Adhere to applicable state regulations concerning speech therapy services
