Speech Language Pathologist II - Inpatient - Days
About The Position
The Speech Language Pathologist II – Inpatient - Days position is a full-time role requiring 40 hours per week, with hours from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm, and rotating weekends. The role involves providing evaluation, treatment, and follow-up services to physician-referred patients. Responsibilities include preparing and maintaining accurate patient records, such as evaluations, progress notes, discharge summaries, and billing. The position also involves participating in the clinical supervision of students. The role requires travel to rotating locations including Skokie, Highland Park, and Glenview. Holidays involve either one summer and one winter holiday or a weekend surrounding a holiday, with shared responsibility among team members.
Requirements
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in the State of IL required
- Master’s degree in Speech Pathology from a university program accredited by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
- BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association required
- Holds or is working towards a Certificate of Clinical Competence of the American-Speech-Hearing Association
