Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) | 2026 – 2027 School Year
About The Position
Sage Connections is hiring a full-time, W-2 Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant to provide school-based services to K–12 students during the 2026–2027 school year. The role is onsite and scheduled Monday through Friday, roughly 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., for 35 hours per week. The position runs from November 1, 2026, through June 2027, with potential to renew. The assistant will provide speech and language therapy in accordance with students’ IEPs, work with teachers, school staff, and families to support student progress, maintain documentation and service logs, and collect data to track progress and goals. Sage Connections describes itself as a woman- and therapist-owned, mission-driven special education staffing company. Requirements
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program, Communication Disorders, or a related field.
- Completion of SLPA certification requirements, if required by Massachusetts.
- Eligible for or holding Massachusetts SLPA authorization, if applicable.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services in accordance with students’ IEPs.
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and service logs.
- Collect data and track students’ progress and goals.
