This is a temporary position for a Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) in a Long Term Care (LTC) setting, with day shifts available in Worcester, MA. The role involves screening, evaluating, and rehabilitating patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders. The SLP will develop appropriate plans of care, utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practice, and adjust treatments based on patient progress. The position also includes providing consultation and counseling to patients, families, and caregivers, collaborating with the healthcare team, and documenting all services and patient information in the electronic system. Participation in required meetings and trainings is expected. The SLP will also be responsible for obtaining necessary DME or supplies, supervising CFY or Student Speech-Language Pathologists, and adhering to ASHA and State Required practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics.
