About The Position

This is a leadership opportunity in the Operating Room where the Specialty Team Coordinator RN helps to plan, organize, and direct the specialty services under their charge. On a day-to-day basis, the coordinator monitors room turnover and case setup, makes room assignments for the team, provides employees with annual performance appraisals, offers ongoing education and evaluation, serves as the technical resource person, trains new hires, and manages the specialty’s resources and equipment. This position supports the vascular, reconstructive plastics, and trauma surgery service lines.

Requirements

• At least three (3) years of nursing experience in the Operating Room required.
• RN Diploma, ASN required.
• PA RN license OR a multi-state license verified in one of the approved states through the Nursing Licensure Compact.
• Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) required.
• CNOR within 12 months.
