This role serves as the primary customer contact, responsible for implementing marketing strategy and promoting Amgen products as led by the District Manager. The Specialty Representative/Senior Specialty Representative will provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen's products and effectively communicate the clinical benefits to medical professionals to drive appropriate utilization of the products. They will act as a sales leader to achieve territory sales by delivering branded sales messages, conducting planned programs, scheduling and following-up with medical educational programs, and achieving or exceeding sales targets through both in-person and virtual engagement. Responsibilities also include developing relationships to service and manage accounts, which may involve customizing discussions and customer interactions based on understanding of customer needs, ensuring product access, resolving/triaging reimbursement issues, and maintaining product contracts. The role requires providing feedback on marketing strategy, analyzing business effectiveness of sales activities and territory analysis, and developing territory plans with the District Manager. Collaboration with other colleagues to share best practices and a commitment to continuous learning and growth are also key aspects of this position. The individual must demonstrate passion for Amgen's products, sustain that passion throughout the sales cycle, build the Amgen brand, and always focus on serving patients.
