CVS Health has an exciting new opportunity for a pharmacy technician in Fort Worth, TX. Our CarePlus CVS Specialty Pharmacy Services specializes in Oncology, Multiple Sclerosis, Hepatitis, HIV, Rheumatology, Dermatology, Gastrointestinal, and multiple other diseases, and we are adding pharmacy technicians to this team! As a pharmacy technician, you will focus on data entry, processing new referrals, benefit verifications, answering phones, making refill calls, and setting up deliveries with patients. You may also assist walk-in patients, fill and ring out prescriptions, maintain adequate inventory, manage inventory functions, and ship orders. In addition, you will work closely with others to process prior authorizations and enroll patients in financial assistance. To be successful in this role, you must interact with a diverse customer base in a friendly and confident manner and be able to work in a team environment. You should be motivated, organized, detail-oriented and have excellent communication skills along with the ability to learn new operating systems as well as a baseline knowledge of pharmacy and medical terminology. Must be able to lift and ship prescriptions up to 40lbs.

Requirements

  • Active Registered Pharmacy Technician License in the State of Texas
  • 1+ Years of Pharmacy Experience
  • Baseline knowledge of pharmacy and medical terminology
  • Ability to learn new operating systems
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Motivated, organized, detail-oriented
  • Ability to interact with a diverse customer base in a friendly and confident manner
  • Ability to work in a team environment
