CVS health has an exciting new opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician on our CarePlus Specialty Pharmacy team in Aurora, CO. The team specializes in MS, Oncology, Hepatitis, HIV, Rheumatology, Dermatology, Transplant and Gastrointestinal diseases. As part of the team, you will be leading an innovative and bold initiative aimed at transforming health care and pharmacy leveraging new and emerging information, technologies and channels.

Requirements

6+ months of pharmacy technician experience or graduate of a pharmacy technician program.
Active pharmacy technician license in the state of Colorado.
Verifiable High School diploma, GED or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

CVS experience.
Specialty pharmacy experience.
National pharmacy technician certification.

Responsibilities

Lift and ship prescriptions up to 50 lbs.
Ensuring medication has been filled correctly.
Accurately entering prescription information as needed.
Contact patients to arrange delivery or set a pickup date.
Perform refill reminder calls.
Accurately fill medication orders.
Prepare orders for delivery.
Pack/ship medication orders via various carriers for final delivery to the patient.
Maintaining adequate inventory.
Managing inventory functions.
Helping walk-in customers.
