About The Position

Shields Health Solutions is hiring a Pharmacy Liaison—a Specialty Pharmacy Technician—to support patients with medication adherence and personalized pharmacy services. The role works onsite in a hospital clinic or hospital office building and partners with clinic teams to provide hands-on patient care. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Compensation is salary-based with an annual bonus.

Requirements

• State-registered Pharmacy Technician.
• At least 5 years of experience as a pharmacy technician.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong communication, organization, and technology skills.
• Empathy, integrity, and a team-first mindset.
• Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), internet navigation, and web-based platforms.
• Data entry and computer skills will be evaluated through a pre-employment assessment.

Nice To Haves

• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clinic teams to deliver hands-on patient care.
• Process prior authorizations, resolve insurance issues, and support financial assistance.
• Educate patients on pharmacy services and assist with specialty and retail prescriptions.
• Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to process improvements.
