Under the direction of the CPS Area/Director of Pharmacy, the Pharmacy Manager will lead all aspects of pharmacy operations, including planning, organizing, and supervising services in alignment with hospital policies, professional standards, and regulatory requirements. You will collaborate with hospital leadership to implement innovative pharmacy practices, supported by proprietary CPS software, a dedicated support team including experts in operations, clinical, and regulatory.

Requirements

  • ACPE-accredited pharmacy degree (PharmD preferred)
  • Active Indiana state Pharmacist license in good standing or ability to obtain before start date
  • 3+ years of recent experience as a Pharmacist
  • Driver’s License and access to reliable transportation

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage hospital pharmacy operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and timely medication distribution
  • Supervise, coach, and develop pharmacy staff, including pharmacists, technicians, and interns
  • Oversee medication safety and quality initiatives, reducing errors and improving patient outcomes
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards, including Joint Commission, USP, and state/federal laws
  • Manage departmental budgets, inventory, and purchasing, controlling costs while maintaining service levels
  • Collaborate with clinical leaders and interdisciplinary teams to support patient care and organizational goals
  • Required to cover remote site located in Francesville, Indiana approximately once a week
  • Implement policies, procedures, and performance metrics, driving continuous improvement and accountability
