Specialty Pharmacist
About The Position
St. Luke’s Specialty Pharmacy is seeking a pharmacist to work in its dually accredited health system specialty pharmacy. The role combines clinical pharmacy and outpatient care coordination to support patients receiving complex and advanced medication therapies. Specialty pharmacists work with the healthcare team to provide integrated support for medication adherence, fulfillment, and financial assistance. The position offers extensive onboarding and training, ongoing support, opportunities for growth, and a varied daily experience involving diverse disease states and specialty medications.
Requirements
- Degree from an accredited pharmacy program.
- Valid Idaho Pharmacist License.
Responsibilities
- Provide support and education to help patients access and adhere to their medications.
- Strengthen partnerships with healthcare providers and apply skills from retail/outpatient and clinical pharmacy settings to advance pharmacy opportunities.
- Support integrated medication adherence, fulfillment, and financial assistance as part of a coordinated patient-care approach.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team in caring for patients receiving complex and advanced medication therapies.
