About The Position

The Specialty Infusion Manager role is crucial for driving Chronic and IVIG patient referrals within a specific territory. This position involves extensive collaboration with internal teams such as pharmacy, intake, nursing, and operations to ensure seamless service delivery. Key responsibilities include achieving net revenue and profit goals, expanding market share, and actively supporting sales and marketing initiatives. The manager will primarily engage with key customers including clinics, physicians, and payors.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in business development and customer service.
  • Strong ability to sell healthcare services.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint).
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Adaptable, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Confident communicator with conceptual thinking skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree, ideally in business, healthcare, or a related field.
  • Minimum of two (2) years in infusion services or a related healthcare field.
  • Familiarity with reimbursement policies.
  • Knowledge of reimbursement processes.

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and manage relationships with key referral sources, including clinics, physicians, and payors, to generate Chronic and IVIG patient referrals.
  • Collaborate with pharmacy, intake, nursing, and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Achieve net revenue and profit (EBITDA) goals by expanding market share and securing new business opportunities.
  • Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and in-service presentations to support business development efforts.
  • Analyze territory performance and develop strategic plans aligned with company objectives.
  • Address and resolve customer service issues promptly, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Support managed care initiatives and assist with pricing submissions in coordination with sales leadership.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including call reports, expense reports, and other required submissions.
  • Develop and apply knowledge of relevant disease states, drug therapies, and reimbursement policies.
  • Assist in training staff on customer service best practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Other related duties as assigned by supervisor or designee
