The position involves interfacing with customer service representatives and production teams to fulfill customer orders efficiently and accurately.

Requirements

Associate degree in a technical field preferred, or equivalent experience with strong math/science aptitude
Strong written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail and disciplined, accurate work habits
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and database systems

Nice To Haves

Experience in manufacturing, production operations, or scheduling
Ability to manage multiple priorities across several process steps simultaneously
Familiarity with continuous improvement or Performance Excellence tools
Knowledge of optical fiber products, processes, or related manufacturing environments

Responsibilities

Shipment planning of standard Specialty Fiber Products
Monitor inventory levels and provide feedback to manufacturing if priorities change
Serve as the primary interface with Commercial Customer Service Representatives, managing purchase orders, shipment schedules, and customer issues
Provide specific product information through interface with Customer Service Representatives and/or Applications Engineers
Interface with Optical Fiber processing resources in the production of fiber
Work cooperatively across multiple functions and process areas
