About The Position
Orlando Health is seeking a Specialty Dietitian to join its Clinical Nutrition team. The role provides evidence-based nutrition care to help patients achieve better health outcomes. The dietitian provides medical nutrition therapy and nutrition assessments, develops and implements individualized nutrition care plans, educates patients and families on nutrition and disease management, and collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams. The position also participates in quality improvement initiatives and staff education and represents Clinical Nutrition through community outreach and professional engagement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or a related accredited program.
- Registered Dietitian (CDR) credential required.
- Florida Dietitian/Nutritionist license required.
- Minimum one year of clinical dietitian experience.
- Specialty certification required, such as CDR Specialty Certification, CDCES, CNSC, CLC, IBCLC, or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Provide medical nutrition therapy and nutrition assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans.
- Educate patients and families on nutrition and disease management.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
