About The Position

The Registered Clinical Dietitian plans regular and modified diets for patients of all ages as prescribed by the Medical Staff. The role includes routinely visiting patients and providing nutritional counseling. The dietitian also participates in hospital, patient, and community education and outpatient programs, and assists with maintaining the department's Quality Assessment & Quality Improvement plan.

Requirements

Be registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
Be licensed by the state in which the facility resides to practice Dietetics.

Nice To Haves

Three years of experience in a clinical setting preferred.
Rehabilitation experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Plan regular and modified diets for patients of all ages as prescribed by the Medical Staff.
Routinely visit patients and counsel patients with nutritional needs.
