Requirements

  • Typically requires A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
  • Experience with Spray application of aerospace coatings, including surface preparation and fill/fair operations
  • Experience with Formulation, mixing and application of highly filled specialty aerospace coatings
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.​ U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance​
  • Secret - Current Security Clearance Status: Active and existing security clearance required on day 1

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrated ability to perform data organization and analysis using Excel
  • Experience with technical report writing proficiency
  • Experience with technical presentation experience
  • Ability to participate and make contributions in technical internal and customer meetings
  • Performance of RF measurements to characterize material properties and performance
  • Experience with composites layup and fabrication, and adhesive bonding
  • Experience with prototype fabrication and assembly

Responsibilities

  • Support Signature Management & Technology group in the performance of materials and processes development activities in the areas of high-performance coatings, composites, adhesive bonding and surface preparation
  • Perform test article fabrication activities to support range testing.
  • Perform measurements in the RF Materials Measurements Lab to characterize material properties and performance
  • Support the M&P lab in the preparation (fabrication, painting, etc.) of specimens for physical and mechanical testing.
  • Support component level testing at both the far and near field radar cross section (RCS) measurement ranges
