Advanced Mulch is seeking dependable, specialized fleet service technicians/mechanics for work in their mulch manufacturing and installation divisions. This position offers a steady, full-time schedule, a laid-back atmosphere, and growth opportunities. The role involves scheduled preventative maintenance and repair of the company's fleet of trucks and equipment. Specific, in-depth training relative to specialized trucks will be provided. This position allows mechanics to interact with equipment daily to identify and address minor repairs before they become major issues, and to refine daily operations for maximized productivity. Applicants must be able to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair machines in the fleet. While experience on every truck/machine type is not necessary, the ability to see a repair through to completion is essential. The role involves an average of 50 hours worked per week, with pay based on experience and skill level. Some travel is available at certain times of the year. The ideal candidate is a well-organized self-starter with good written and verbal communication skills, a positive attitude, and takes pride in delivering quality work. Experience or schooling on modern diesel engines, computer systems, electronics, hydraulics, drivetrain, air brakes, and DEF systems is needed. The ability to pass a mandated Department of Transportation physical exam and a clean drug screen is required.
