Requirements

  • Successfully completed commercial or technical vocational training, or comparable qualification
  • Min. 2-3 years of relevant professional experience, ideally in light commercial vehicles, passenger cars, or conversion manufacturers
  • Strong affinity for light commercial vehicles and special vehicle solutions
  • Structured way of working combined with self-organization skills including reporting and documentation understanding (e.g., visit reports)
  • High commitment, proactive thinking and working style with a high degree of responsibility
  • Presentation skills and eloquent expression combined with a confident and binding demeanor
  • Enjoyment of negotiation activities
  • Fluent German and good English skills in spoken and written word

Responsibilities

  • Obtaining, negotiating, and technically reviewing purchasing conditions and comparative offers from our suppliers
  • Leading framework contract negotiations and accompanying them to successful completion, even outside the department
  • Conducting consultations, needs analyses, and benchmarks for our customers and prospects in the area of vehicle procurement
  • Creating project-related vehicle configurations (primarily light commercial vehicles) including modifications/conversions/attachments within the holistic procurement strategy (Holman Supply Chain)
  • Internal and external communication with specialist departments, our customers, and our suppliers
  • Strategic supplier management (Supplier Relationship Management)
  • Collaboration in the further development of the Vehicle Supply Chain department within Holman Germany in cooperation with our US colleagues
