About The Position

The Test Systems Engineer owns the test process, including its concept and design, root cause analysis, and corrective action. The engineer collaborates with Design and Systems Engineering to become a subject matter expert, then applies that knowledge to create and refine test processes used by Testers and Technicians in Operations. When issues arise, the engineer determines their cause and implements corrective actions to prevent similar failures in the future. The position supports product transitions from design to production, product life cycle management, Test Engineering development, and manufacturing operations. It also involves project management, mentoring less experienced engineers, technical consultation, participation in design reviews, and evaluating contract manufacturers’ capabilities. The role requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship.
