About The Position

Fidelity Stock Transfer is seeking a Specialist to join a team focused on next-generation transfer agent operations. This role involves fostering productive customer interactions, solving business challenges, and leveraging new technology to provide excellent customer service. As a transfer agent specialist, you will be part of a cross-functional team responsible for mapping existing operational processes, identifying customer pain points, establishing best practices, and innovating new methods for managing registered securities. The position is within Fidelity Labs, Fidelity Investments’ in-house fintech incubator, which aims to build new businesses and drive growth by developing new products and services. Fidelity Labs offers a dynamic environment that combines startup agility with the stability of an industry leader, providing a space to explore, test, and scale new business ideas.

College Degree required and/or 3-5 years’ experience in Financial Service or Transfer Agent Operations
Knowledge of transfer agent operational processes and SEC regulations
Proficient in Microsoft office Word, Excel and other basic knowledge of other products within suite
Effective written, verbal and listening skills
Strong problem solving and decision-making skills

Responsibilities

Comply with all policies and procedures related to all aspects of TA Operations
Ensure quality standards are enforced, met and compliant with regulatory mandates
Ensure all key daily duties are performed timely and accurately
Collaborate with aligning business partners to develop and create written procedures
Ensure all procedures are updated to mitigate process risks
Demonstrate a collaborative mindset aligned with process improvement, efficiencies and risk mitigation
Participate in architectural system design with product, technical and operations teams to ensure proper system build satisfying TA needs as we scale our business
Support business initiatives and special projects
Cross train as needed
Other duties as assigned by management
