About The Position

Fidelity Stock Transfer is seeking a Specialist to join a team focused on next-generation transfer agent operations. In this role, you will enhance customer interactions, address business challenges, and leverage new technology to provide excellent customer service. As a transfer agent specialist, you will be part of a cross-functional team responsible for mapping existing operational processes, identifying customer pain points, establishing best practices, and innovating new methods for managing registered securities. The team, Fidelity Labs, is Fidelity Investments’ in-house fintech incubator, dedicated to building new businesses to drive growth. Fidelity Labs aims to shape the industry's future by developing new products and services for diverse customers, businesses, and financial institutions. It offers a dynamic environment combining startup agility with the stability of an industry leader, providing a space for teams to explore ideas, test with customers, and scale promising concepts.

College Degree required and/or 3-5 years’ experience in Financial Service or Transfer Agent Operations
Knowledge of transfer agent operational processes and SEC regulations
Proficient in Microsoft office Word, Excel and other basic knowledge of other products within suite
Effective written, verbal and listening skills
Strong problem solving and decision-making skills

Nice To Haves

Experience with restricted securities a plus

Responsibilities

Comply with all policies and procedures related to all aspects of TA Operations
Ensure quality standards are enforced, met and compliant with regulatory mandates
Ensure all key daily duties are performed timely and accurately
Collaborate with aligning business partners to develop and create written procedures
Ensure all procedures are updated to mitigate process risks
Demonstrate a collaborative mindset aligned with process improvement, efficiencies and risk mitigation
Participate in architectural system design with product, technical and operations teams to ensure proper system build satisfying TA needs as we scale our business
Support business initiatives and special projects
Cross train as needed
Other duties as assigned by management
